Just like those guys (one of them was wearing a top hat) who make that offensive webcomic I don’t read in that one panel at ROFLCon that I didn’t like very much, Internet brings you together. It’s touching.

It IS pretty nifty to think that this collaboration would have been many degrees harder only 10 years ago, and nearly impossible 20 years back. (It is unclear what John and I, as infants, would have had to contribute to the nonexistent medium of webcomics back in 1989.) Huzzah for these glorious intertubes!

As for my footnote about the strip ending, I don’t want to emphasize that too much. As you mentioned, having a time machine affords us a lot of freedom in where (and when) we can go. If all goes according to plan, it will be a very long time before we exhaust that potential.

Like Dresden Codak? I was so disappointed when that ended, but it looks like it’s now back.

Still, I think with Chronillogical, you could really go anywhere. And it’s awesome that you guys live on other sides of the country, yet still manage to get all of this done. Proof of the power of the Internet, it is.

@ Dartigen: Oh man, I like “thingymawooger”. I might have to steal that for use in everyday conversation, if you don’t mind.

But yeah, I know what you mean. I sorta suspect that people keep using some of these terms because they sound goofy. Another example: WYSIWYG, or “wizzy-wig”, for What You See Is What You Get.

@ Martin: Thanks! But I guess this means John and I might want to re-think our big 25-strip storyline about Jen’s ZANY attempt to implement a Fibonacci heap in C. Oh, SEGFAULTs: you’re so wacky!
