Howdy, time bandits. Time-caneers. Members of the Chronillogical Order. Greg and I are planning our next big time jump for “feudal Japan” (kind of a big net to cast, I admit — and ultimately a euphemism for “you know, like, in that Kurosawa movie”), which means that I need to make sure I know how things looked, more or less. So, here’s a taste of that:

If anyone happens to know of any particularly good resources on the subject — with regards to fashion and architecture, especially — we’d appreciate the help. Such are the powers of the internet?!?

OOOOOoooohhhh…..there’s a really great movie that gives a great representaion of the manner of style and dress for that period….
It was directed by that one guy…umm…I think it was Kiris….no…wait a sec…umm…kamask….thats not it either.
    KUROSAWA!!! That’s the guy!
(sorry…..sarcasm was tongue in cheek and could not be restrained.. I no it wasn’t helpful for you, but it gave me momentary amusement 😉 )

Try the movie ‘The Seven Samurai’
Although I’m not sure if it’s feudal; they have primitive muskets.
