Today is the day! Today is the day that history changes us all. Or … perhaps it isn’t that auspicious. But the site is different! Snazzy, right? Couldn’t have done it without Greg, who may have officially Left the Building (or will do so within the next 12 hours, I’d imagine).
What you need to know: things aren’t 100% finished, and I’ll most likely add some content here and there over the next few days. Like Greg said, he’ll still have “intermittent” internet access, so send any technical problems his way (I’d gladly take them, but am unfortunately code illiterate). That’s greg [at] chronillogical [dot] com.
So take a look around! Familiarize yourself with the face of the future. Chronillogical’s future, at any rate.
Am I missing something, or is there supposed to be a white and teal horizontal stripe with a series of black buttons runing along the left side?
😉
I’m using Firefox, btw.
Nice! I like it!
@macsnafu: I believe you need to empty your cache, sir!
It looks great, good job everyone involved!
Now that I’ve got that out of the way, I can start complaining 😉
For some reason, this appears in the CSS:
text-shadow: #000 0 0 0; /* Lighten Safari’s heavy fonts */
In Safari on a Mac, it does exactly the opposite; the fonts are too heavy. I don’t know if it was intended for Windows or what, but it’d be nicer without it. Thanks!
@macsnafu: What John said. Did you clear your cache? Let me know if you’re still having problems after you’ve tried that.
@jt: I commented out the offending CSS—for some reason I thought I had taken care of that earlier. Let me know if it improves things.
Looks great! Have fun in Brazil.
Greg, looks fine now. Thanks!
Also, why does the link to a post’s comments show up in quotes? That’s bugging me.
@jt: Fixed!
Awesome. What happened to the link to the first comic on the New Readers page? That was useful.
Hey, it looks nice! It’s better integrated with the look of the comic now. Maybe now it won’t crash my computer.
I do note that the high-tech border isn’t anti-aliased, though.
No way–I need all the cache I can get in these dificult economic times. Oh, wait. Yep, that did it. NOW it looks Wild.
I just noticed the pokémons all up in the title! hooray!
