Okay, so I’m not actually sure if the title of this post is true or not. But here’s the situation:
As you may have noticed, the site was down for most of the day yesterday. This had to do with some server issues over at our host, DreamHost. I have no idea if these server issues are related to the sporadic downtimes we’ve had over the past two weeks. I hope they are, because presumably that would mean that once this problem gets fixed all our other problems will go away. That would be jolly good news, let me tell you.
We seem to be back up at the moment, but I can’t assure you how long that’ll last. I’m hoping it’s for good, but as of this posting the folks at DreamHost haven’t quite A.O.K.’ed the situation.
Hopefully we’re seeing the final phase of all these problems. If not, then the worst-case scenario is that we’ll have to migrate to a different host. Whatever happens, I’ll try my damnedest to keep you posted on any expected downtime or comic delays. Thanks for your patience!
Oh, and concerning this week’s blog post: think of this one as temporary filler. I’ll try to deliver something a bit meatier on Wednesday.
