It is time for an ordered list! I know you can barely con­tain your excite­ment, but do try.

1. Recently on web​comics.com, Kris Straub rec­om­mended a com­ment man­age­ment system called IntenseDe­bate. I fig­ured I’d give it a go, because hon­estly, who am I to ques­tion Kris Straub? No one, that’s who! So if you’ve noticed how the site’s com­ment sec­tions look all different-​like, that’s why. What a good eye you have!
2. I’ve also heard good things about this Word­press Super Cache plugin. Unfor­tu­nately, I’m having a bit of a time installing it. So I guess this is just to warn you that if the site goes down briefly later this week, that’s prob­a­bly just me bang­ing my head against Word­press like some incom­pe­tent Nean­derthal.¹
3. Do you think John and I should make more use of this blog­ging space? I think we might should. (At the very least it will give me an oppor­tu­nity to prac­tice using double modals.) So we’re going to try to do some weekly blog­ging. Let’s make a thing of it, shall we? How do Mon­days work for you? They’re good, you say? Excel­lent! We’ll do Mon­days. I simply can’t wait to see you there.
4. John and I were also dis­cussing set­ting up a forum of some kind. That’s a thing people do on Inter­net, right? It prob­a­bly won’t get set up until I have some time over winter break (I’ll need some­thing to do while I’m pro­cras­ti­nat­ing on my thesis) but when it hap­pens you better watch out. Which is to say, I’ll let you know about it so you prob­a­bly don’t actu­ally need to watch out all that much.
