Comic for October 17, 2008: There’s A Hot Pocket In My Rocket
True Fact: Lindow Man, the famous Iron Age body found in a bog in Cheshire, England, was so well preserved that the contents of his stomach were found intact. What was his last meal? You guessed it: a Shepard’s Pie Hot Pocket.
Students are like that.

I really like the drawing of Kokopelli holding a Hot Pocket.

You did a pretty close job of approximating what a sick person sounds like! Except you included some nasals that should become the non-nasalized voice plosive at the same place of articulation. And I don’t know why ‘s’ would change to ‘th’.

While writing Jen’s dialogue for the next strip I realized the ‘s’->’th’ transformation wasn’t right. We’ll do better next time!
